Product Overview
Mandatory cover for your foreign worker.
The Foreign Workers Compensation Scheme (FWCS) protects the welfare and interests of foreign workers in Malaysia. As provided under Section 26(2) of the Workmen’s Compensation Act 1952, it is mandatory for every employer to insure all their foreign workers employed by the company under the Foreign Workers Compensation Scheme (FWCS).
Coverage
This section covers the foreign worker against personal injury by accident or disease arising out of or in the course of employment with the Insured.
- Death from occupational disease or accident during working hours
- Death by accident whilst in the course of employment
- Funeral Expenses
- Permanent Total Disablement
- Temporary Disablement (Half Monthly Payment)
- Hospitalisation & medical expenses: Up to RM750
Repatriation Expenses: This section indemnifies you for the cost of transportation of the remains of the deceased or permanently-disabled worker back to his/her country of origin.
Personal Accident (Off-Work Hours): Payable in respect of personal injury or death sustained in an accident outside working hours.
