This class of Engineering Insurance offers, subject to certain policy exclusions, a comprehensive protection against all the risks normally associated with the erection of machinery of any kind including third party claims for property damage or bodily injury in the execution of the project.The normal risks covered are:
- Fire, lightning, explosion
- Flood
- Windstorm
- Earthquake
- Theft, Burglary
- Faults in erection
- Short circuiting, excess voltage
- Excess pressure or vacuum, tearing apart on account of centrifugal force
- Any other sudden and unforeseen event such as collapse, etc
